This can be a great way to get involved, have fun and help raise valuable funds for the work of Respected.

Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge, 17th – 18th May 2025

Join us as we fundraise for the work of Respected by taking part in the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge!

A challenge event you can take on at your own pace. The Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge invites you to walk, jog or run a distance of your choice, along a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special for Respected!

A Spectacular World Heritage coastline, start in Corfe Castle, head down to Swanage and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs all the way to Weymouth half way. For full 100km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay (of TV’s Broadchurch) – before a finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport. Great Three Quarter, Half, Marathon, Quarter & 10km options too.

With 75km, 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options also available – there’s a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.
You may have to dig deep at times, you’ll meet new friends along the way, and the journey will be unforgettable! As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a big welcome from the cheer squad, a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

Fundraising can be as small or big as you want it to be. Pick something you’d love to do… you can either keep it simple or be more adventurous!

Maybe you are a budding gardener and could do a ticketed open garden event to show off your blooms? Are you an avid home cook and can throw a dinner party? Maybe you have always wanted to have a go at something adventurous? Or maybe you just want to hang out and drink coffee with friends…

Whatever you love doing, you can do it and raise money for Respected.

set a date: allow yourself plenty of time to plan your fundraising event
let people know and let us know too – drop us an email at office@respected.org.uk, share it on your socials
download the poster below to promote it
set up an online fundraising page using People’s Fundraising *
enjoy your event, share some photos, let us know how it went!
