Think Again uses 3 T’s (Think, Talk, Tools) to help students make positive, informed decisions which are based on a healthy sense of self-worth.
It explores the qualities of healthy friendships and uses this as a foundation for healthy relationships.
It applies the 3 T’s to 3 key areas: peer pressure, sexting and internet safety/grooming.
What’s Covered?
Session 1: Friendship and Peer Pressure
Session Aims:
Students will:
- Understand their own self-worth
- Be confident in using the 3T’s in decision making
- Be able to identify features of healthy and unhealthy friendships
- Understand what peer pressure is and apply the 3 T’s in developing techniques to resist it
Session 2: Consent and Sexting
Session Aims:
Students will:
- Understand boundaries and consent and be able to apply these to friendships (including online)
- Understand what sexting is and apply the 3T’s in understanding its possible consequences
Session 3: Grooming
Session Aim:
Students will:
- Understand what grooming is and apply the 3T’s to stay safe in online friendships/relationships
